Why dehydration is making you fat and sick

Dehydration is a real problem that has been creating a lot of problems for millions of people worldwide, but did you know that getting thirsty is already a sign of dehydration?
Indeed, you can be dehydrated even if you aren’t thirsty, so you should “force” yourself to drink water if you spend lots of time without doing it – if you skip too much water, then dehydration can cause a myriad of different problems like:

More Cholesterol Production:
When your body is dehydrated, the body will try to save your cells from having the water taken from them.  In order to replace the water you should drink, and for that reason it starts to produce more Cholesterol which  will bring you some circulatory complications like a bigger risk of heart problems and stroke.
To lower Cholesterol production you should drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated.

Digestive Disorders:
Your body needs a lot of different substances for the digestion process, but one that it needs in abundance is water and the lack of it may cause a lot of digestive disorders that may end up fattening you or increasing your blood-fat levels.
Another thing it may cause is constipation, making you feel bloated.

Higher Blood Pressure:
Your blood becomes less watered when you’re dehydrated, and so the blood vessels experience a bigger pressure.
This is just another good reason to start increasing your water intake right now.

Becoming Tired Quickly:
Your body is a pretty smart machine, and that is why it will tire you faster when you’re dehydrated, that way you minimize energy expenditure and make the body work less.
It’s a natural way to brake your operations and get you to slow down, economizing water.

Skin Problems are also a worry:
When your body needs water, it saps it from the places that require it the least.
Your skin may need to be hydrated to be smooth and beautiful, but between that and drying up organ’s cells, your  body always opts for the organs to be hydrated, thus your skin is the first thing that suffers with dehydration.
There’s no point in applying moisturizing lotion to the skin when you are dehydrated, and drinking plenty of water is the only sure-shot way to solve that.

Do you know now why it’s important to follow the water intake recommendations? Staying hydrated is some serious stuff, so as soon as you finish reading this article, drink a glass of it!
